1. Introduction
Adelaide Partitions & Ceilings Pty Ltd is committed to managing its activities to minimise environmental impact, support safe work practices, and comply with applicable environmental legislation, client requirements, and company procedures.
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and activities undertaken by Adelaide Partitions & Ceilings Pty Ltd.
2. Control of Construction Activity Pollution
To minimise pollution arising from construction activities, the following controls are implemented:

Use vacuums when sanding plasterboard to minimise dust.

Use wash-out bins when disposing of flushing compounds.

Use pre-oiled buckets for flushing compounds to allow dried material to be removed without washing.
3. Housekeeping / Waste Management
Effective housekeeping and waste management practices include:

Order materials cut to size where possible to minimise waste.

Maintain tidy work areas free of debris at all times.

Use designated recycling bins for steel and plasterboard off-cuts where available.

Recycle cans and bottles using appropriate bins.
4. Storage and Protection of Materials
Materials are to be managed responsibly by:

Storing materials in protected areas to prevent damage or contamination.

Ordering and delivering materials as required to minimise excess storage and waste.
5. Use of Local Products
Where possible:

6. No Smoking Policy

Cigarette butts must be disposed of in bins provided or other approved disposal points.
